(This view is from 1964)

Prints are available - size 11. Click HERE

We are heading West in this small watercolour on the Pontypool to Neath bound train as it passes Crumlin junction, on its way over the famous viaduct. At this moment the trains Fireman can be seen exchanging tokens by putting his arm through the signalman's hoop - allowing the train access to the single track ahead.
My thanks to Mr D O Packer of Ystrad Mynach for lending me details of this view. These details are not readily available so without his help this painting would not have been done.
