Painting of Cefn Onn Halt Railway Station.

This oil painting shows the former 'Cefn Onn Halt Railway Station' which was situated on the South side of the Caerphilly tunnel and closed in 1986 -
Lisvane and Thornhill is now the local railway station. Whilst the Cardiff bound trains pass though here
little is left of the station.
I have attempted to capture it pre 1962 which was about the time diesel trains arrived.
It's a view from the Southbound platform and shows the train just leaving to travel North through the tunnel to Caerphilly Station.
The Northbound platform is lower than this platform which shows in the eye level of the train.
