A short drive out of Cardigan brings you to Cillgerran Castle. On the day I visited it poured down with rain, hence the stormy theme to my painting.
The painting captures the entrance to the castle which has been painted by many famous artists. A problem these days is that many castles are surrounded by trees which makes it difficult to get a decent view. No grumbles though it's great to have them. This painting shows it as it stands in 2015.
