What a great view this is - looking South/East down the Usk valley from Bwlch.
This landscape deserves to be on a large canvas so I will put it on my 'to do' list.
The Myarth mountain at 292m (950 ft) is on the right with the A40 road in front of it.The furthest peak in the distance is the
Sugar Loaf mountain with Abergavenny on the other side.
The main mountain shown is part of the Black Mountain range where the right side is
Pen Cerrig-calch whose summit is 701m (2,300 ft) and the left side is Pen Allt-mawr whose peak is 719m (2,340 ft).
Crickhowell is in the valley behind the Myarth mountain and just visible in the valley and
left of Myarth is Tretower (Court and castle).
The river Usk flows on the other side of Myarth mountain and on my way up this valley I crossed it via the stone bridge
