Rhymney to Cardiff steam Train
on Bargoed Viaduct (2010/59)

In this small watercolour we have the view from the Newport to Brecon train having just left Bargoed station, bound for Darren/Deri.
This line closed in the early sixties and is now overgrown with trees.
The train passing over the viaduct is on the Rhymney Railways line and will be stopping at Bargoed - bound for Cardiff.
This line is still with us today and takes the Cardiff to Rhymney train.
