This small painting shows The Rhymney River from the bridge at Ystrad Mynach - near the dance centre.
The idea for this painting came about as I walked over the bridge and looked down over the river only to catch four
lttle ducks paddling up the river and at the same time a kingfisher flew from under the bridge into the trees on the right.
A nice little moment - enought to capture it in oils.
