The Queen's train arriving at Ystrad Mynach railway station

In April 2014 The Queen presented an award to a local company and her journey brought her to this station . Since it's just a short walk I went over to take details of The Queen's train and this is the first painting where the train is approaching the station.
Also, during 2014/15 the bridge and ticket office seen here were demolished making way for a new bridge (with lift) plus a new ticket office on the South bound platform.
