These days the only chance of seeing a steam train on our Valley line is when the Tourist Train ventures up our valley.
But why wait, I took a walk down to the the tracks just above the College and took some details of the view looking towards the
signal box which I believe is being closed.
I then turned the clock back to paint this view of a steam train just leaving Ystrad Mynach station.
