Adding this painting today, the 18 Jan'2023 is quite appropriate because it has snowed overnight in Ystrad Mynach.
The oil painting captures a view of the snowy landscape alongside Pengam Road, Ystrad Mynach - a view from the pre-sixties.
On the left see's the Newport to Brecon Steam train passing through Cwmdu Farm while on the right and is just visible is the Rhymney bound steam train which will shortly arrive at Ystrad Mynach Station.
