This is the river Conwy at Llanrwst, North Wales with its 17th century stone bridge.
The bridge was built in 1636, and is attributed to Inigo Jones.
The central arch has a span of 18 m - 60 ft. its total length is 51 m -169 ft.
The Tu Hwnt i'r Bont National Trust tearooms can just be seen on the left of the bridge.
I can't resist the old stone bridges. They can all look very similar but are very different with their landscapes. I have driven through Llanrwst many times but on this occasion in 2013
I had to stop and take details for this painting.
