This site started life as
Paintings of Wales, that was back in 2000. Now, it is time to include some smashing subjects which are along our Welsh Border.
This painting shows Goodrich Castle, just a few miles North of Monmouth. Part of English Heritage, Goodrich Castle dates back to
the 11th century so is worth a visit. This is the front view of the castle, the walk in to this spot is from the left. The castle commands a
tremendous view of the river Wye and surrounding landscape.
