Capel Rhonnda, Hopkinstown, Rhondda Cynon Taff

Capel Rhondda can be found in Hopkinstown, Rhondda Cynon Taff, South Wales. Just a few minutes drive out of Pontypridd along Hopkinstown Road - the A4058. It is a Grade II listed building, first built in 1853 then rebuilt in 1886. There are grave stones in the grounds of this chapel.
I've captured the building here with the 'FOR SALE' sign showing. But, the community wasn't having any of that. And news is the community has bought the chapel.
I've painted a number of these buildings which have later been sold and converted to a private dwelling.

Details on the black circular plaque reads (in Welsh and English):
---------------
The hymn tune
CWM RHONDDA
composed by
JOHN HUGHES
was first sung here on
1st November 1907
-----------------
Other inscriptions can be found on both buildings.
