Here we are in July 2018 and the year so far has been taken-up with revitalising some unfinished paintings from earlier years and here is another.
This canvas started back in 1983 but the painting was never completed. It has been left, that is until July 2018 when I decided it was worth giving the subject a second chance. This shows the bridge as it stands today in July 2018.
Plenty of activity along this lock with the painting showing a boat being lowered in the lock having travelled down from Brecon.
Lots have changed since 1983. Trees on the left hace been cut down and the Bridge seems to have been altered in some way on the left. I have another painting of this which shows it back then. Will show it later.
