This is one of a pair of paintings I completed back in 1983, the other taken up river can be seen by clicking
llandaff Cathedral from the bridge
. The other sold and this one remains
with me. As with all my work, what you see in the painting is a true
representation of the landscape as it stood then. Things are
changing fast and I wonder if this scene remains, I shall have to
wonder down there one day and find out.
