This oil painting captures the view from around 1960. Now in Sept' 2020 this same view is completely blocked by trees. I would have been 9 years of age and I can remember the trains along this line to Fleur de Lys.
This is my second painting of this scene, the first is shown below - number 53.

This painting of 1981 shows the viaduct and its sixteen arches veiwed from Gelli Haf Isaf farm .
It was displayed at the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art, Conwy in 1981/2 (Cat No 249) and later sold at the Albany Gallery, Cardiff. I managed to take the buyers details and time has moved on but I have been unable to locate the painting - If you know the whereabouts of this painting
please contact me with any details.
