I've given this painting number 2018/3 but its origin starts back in the late nineties.
I have had it all these years in the attic and decided to give it a new life, repainting in areas to finish it off.
The oil painting shows Gwastad Cottages along Corbetts lane - now the Cedar Tree.
The area has been developed since first doing this painting so there could well be new houses on the other side of the cottages.
There are now three paintings of Gwastad cottages, all in the Caerphilly gallery.
