We are heading West in this small, sketchy watercolour on the Pontypool to Neath bound train. Having just passed Crumlin junction
we are just about to go over the viaduct at a speed of about 8 mph. In its early life the viaduct had duel tracks but in 1964 it has a single line.
Crumlin high level station is to the left on the other side of the valley.
My thanks to Mr D O Packer of Ystrad Mynach for lending me details of this view.
These details are not readily available so without his help this painting would not have been done.
