This painting was commissioned in 2002 and the location is about five miles from home. It was for a lady who adores Bluebells,"the more Bluebells in the painting the better" she said. I don't mind capturing this type of scene as long as it exists and this particular spot is popular with visitors, especially "Bluebell" time of year. Often it can be a nice to include pets and the two dogs shown belong to the lady who commissioned me, this simply adds a personal touch - it usually works.
